Strategic Planner (Havas Group Vietnam)

Job summary

The Strategic Planner will be responsible for developing insight-driven strategies, working closely with Creative Director and cross function teams to deliver impactful campaigns for our clients. He/She will play a key role in shaping brand communications, media planning, and integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the businesses they work with, providing clear direction and vision.
  • Conduct research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure the team’s work is high-quality, both in strategy and creativity
  • Use different types of data to find key insights, mastering both numbers and human behavior.
  • Work closely with clients and creative teams to strengthen brands and grow businesses.
  • Work closely with media planning teams to optimize media investment and channel selection.
  • Collaborate with creative, media, and account teams to translate strategy into effective execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging media channels, and consumer behaviors to provide fresh perspectives.
  • Present strategies and campaign recommendations to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and persuasiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, advertising, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using research tools such as Statista, GWI, Brand Health Studies, Google Trends, and Social Listening tools.
  • Comfortable with technology and has knowledge of digital communication.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Understanding of business and marketing principles is an advantage.
  • Excellent at teamwork and communication.
