Technical Project Manager (Exp./Senior)
The position will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Beyond day-to-day project management, you will also play a key role in defining and improving business processes, guidelines, and standards. You may also support business analysis activities to capture and define requirements effectively.
Job description
- Lead end-to-end software development projects, overseeing planning, budgeting, resource allocation, coordination, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, product owners, business analysts, and IT director, etc.) to ensure project deliverables align with product vision, business and technical standards.
- Drive the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business and technical requirements.
- Organize and track project team tasks to achieve quality and delivery goals, following Agile methodology.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to relevant managers and stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and constructive feedback to team members to support their growth and performance.
- Apply best practice risk management, assessing risks in an informed and considered manner, and plan for effective mitigation strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholder teams to ensure smooth, customer-centric delivery.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi-project environments; experience with SaaS solutions is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Proven experience in project planning, task breakdown, reporting, estimation, and Gantt chart management.
- Skilled in translating business and technical requirements into functional specifications, business process models (e.g., BPMN), UML diagrams, and UI/UX documentation, with a focus on requirements capture and management to guide teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with basic SQL queries is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence effectively with diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, confident to challenge constructively, hold team members accountable, and team motivation.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset.
